Let us inform that the elections for the 60 member assembly of Nagaland were held on 27 February. The results were declared on Thursday. NCP had fielded its candidates on 27 seats in the state assembly elections, in which the party’s candidates have won 7 seats. In six out of these seven seats, the NCP had a direct fight with the BJP. In the last election, NCP was able to win only one seat in Nagaland.
