The results of the assembly elections in the three northeastern states of Tripura, Meghalaya and Nagaland are out. The BJP has blossomed once again in Tripura and Nagaland. Here the party has got majority. Chief Minister Conrad Sangma’s NPP has become the single largest party in Meghalaya. However, the NPP fell short of a majority. In such a situation, Sangma has announced to form a government in alliance with BJP.
