A single bench of High Court Justice Sanjay Dwivedi has granted him bail. The Congress leader has got the benefit of bail after being in jail for more than two and a half months. The High Court had earlier rejected the bail application filed by him with strong remarks. While hearing the second application, the single bench granted him the benefit of bail. 1677486089 Against Congress leader and former minister Raja Patria at Pawai police station in Panna for making objectionable remarks on Prime Minister and inciting minorities in the name of religion and caste. Case was registered. The police arrested him on 27 December. His bail was rejected by the Powai court and the special (MP-MLA) court of Gwalior district. After which he took refuge in the High Court. The bail petition filed in the Gwalior Bench of the High Court was transferred to the main bench for hearing. After hearing the petition, the single bench was told that there is no substance in the sections imposed against the applicant. A case has been registered against him due to political malfeasance. The CD that has been presented has been tampered with. In the statement given by the applicant, the intention was also clarified. His statement was distorted. On the other hand, the bail was opposed by the government. Ekalpeeth 1677486089 Dismissing the petition on January, it was said in its decision that it would not be appropriate to examine the CD and consider its correctness on the bail application. Granting bail in view of the jail term will send a wrong message to the society. Saying this, the court dismissed the petition. The single bench has said in its order that granting bail in view of the detention period will send a wrong message to the society. The single bench has given liberty to the petitioner that he can apply for bail again after 27 days. After the expiry of the period fixed by the High Court, a second application for bail was moved on behalf of the Congress leader. The single bench granted the benefit of bail to the Congress leader after the hearing. ,
