CBI will interrogate Sisodia on various aspects of excise policy, his alleged links with liquor traders and claims made in the statements of witnesses. Officials said that on the basis of confessional statements of Sisodia’s close aide Dinesh Arora and information obtained from interrogation of alleged members of ‘South Lobby’, the CBI has prepared a detailed questionnaire for the AAP leader. The ‘South Lobby’ is a coterie of politicians and liquor barons who allegedly swung the excise policy in their favour. It is alleged that the Delhi government’s policy of granting licenses to liquor traders was in favor of certain ‘dealers’ who allegedly paid bribes for the same. However, AAP has denied these allegations.
