The state government has asked to prepare a plan for electricity and water management in summer. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan held a review meeting with officials of Energy Department on Tuesday. The CM told the officials that the situation of power cut should not arise in the state. An action plan should be prepared according to the need to increase the capacity of electricity. Development is incomplete without electricity. The Chief Minister said that the number of electricity consumers is increasing. Presently there are one crore electricity consumers in the state. Providing electricity to industries is beneficial for the state. Establishment of industries will be helpful in increasing employment. This year as compared to last year's 2022 crore of Rs. Electricity worth crores has been sold. The Chief Minister said that complaints related to electricity should not be received on time for payment of power producers. Year 2022-23 requires a subsidy of 02 thousand crore rupees. The Chief Minister said that there is a need to work in the Energy Department with new revolutionary thinking. There is no shortage of staff. Efforts should be made to prevent power loss. The Chief Minister said that action should be taken against the big defaulters. He also inquired about the dues of the consumers and the closed DTRs and feeders. ,
