Goa Kidnapping: Recently the incident of kidnapping came to light from Goa. Here two people from Hyderabad were held hostage for ransom. In this kidnapping case, the Goa Police People have been detained. Throwing light on the matter, North Goa SP Nidhin Valson said that information was received from the Hyderabad Police about the hostage-taking of two people. As soon as the information was received, the Goa police took immediate action and rescued both the victims from the kidnappers. The accused had demanded ransom money from the relatives of both.
04 people detained Goa Police freed two residents of Hyderabad 41 people who allegedly held the victims hostage after a dispute with their employer. An officer gave this information.
FIR lodged at Hyderabad Superintendent of Police Nidhin Valsan told reporters that the FIR in the matter was registered in Hyderabad. He said that the accused had some dispute with the complainant Jairam Kumar regarding mining activities after which they allegedly called two of his employees to Goa and held them hostage and demanded a ransom of Rs 4 crore from Kumar for their release. He told that- after getting information from Hyderabad Police, Goa Police formed a team and traced the accused in Bambolim area near Panaji, the capital of Goa.
Linked with PFI is also being probed Nidhin Valson said that the alleged links of the main accused in the case with the banned organization Popular Front of India (PFI) are also being probed. He said that all the accused would be handed over to the Hyderabad Police for detailed investigation. (with language input)
