He said that one of these incidents took place on Saturday in Chhapra village under Sanawad police station area when people reached the temple to offer prayers on the occasion of Mahashivratri. In this incident, people from both sides pelted stones at each other. Officials said that apart from this, a similar incident took place in Kasrawad police station area of the district on Saturday as well.

SDPO Vinod Dixit told that this dispute took place in Chhapra village when some members of the Dalit community Tried to enter the temple built by people of other communities. He told that during the incident stones were pelted from both the sides.
Police had solved the matter
The official said the brawl began two days ago when members of the Dalit community wanted to install a statue of Dr BR Ambedkar on a piece of land near the temple and had also cut down a tree. He said that officials of the district and police administration later reached the spot and resolved the matter.
