The Ministry of Defense said in the statement, “At the Bandhan ceremony of 80,16 crore rupees 266 partnerships, including 80 MOUs, 80 major announcements, 9 product launches and transfer of technology . An MoU has also been signed between Bharat Electronic Limited and Aeronautical Development Agency (ADA) for Advanced Medium Combat Aircraft (AMCA). Among the products introduced during Aero India is the Short Range Surface to Air Missile (Bharat Dynamics Limited). Apart from this, semi-active laser based anti-tank guided missile developed by Bharat Dynamics Limited was also presented here. The missile weighs 52 kg and can be used in a variety of terrains on moving and stationary targets such as tanks and infantry combat vehicles.
