What steps are being taken to protect the interests of the people: Congress

Jairam Ramesh said, the government should tell what steps are being taken to protect the interests of those depositing money in the Life Insurance Corporation of India and several public banks. The Congress General Secretary also raised the question that how did LIC invest heavily in the risky Adani Group? Ramesh also asked, did anyone from the Prime Minister’s Office, the Finance Ministry or LIC itself raise any concerns about these questionable investments? Were such concerns dismissed and if so, by whom?
