Tipra Motha has secret understanding with Congress, CPI(M): Shah

Union Home Minister Amit Shah said on Monday that Tipra Motha, led by Pradyot Manikya Debbarma, a scion of the erstwhile royal family, has a secret understanding with the Congress and the CPI(M). Addressing a rally in Santirbazar area, Shah said that in the last five years, two chief ministers of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) have ensured the security of Tripura, which was earlier suffering from cross-border infiltration and militancy. He said, Congress and Communists ruled Tripura for more than 50 years, yet there was no development. Congress gave you ‘darkness’ but we (BJP) have given you rights.
