CPI(M) will contest alone on 58 seat

The CPI(M) will contest on 58 seat alone, while the other Left Front constituents – Forward Bloc, RSP and CPI – will field candidates on one seat each. The Congress contesting the elections in alliance with the Left Front has fielded candidates on 28 seats. Tipra Motha has fielded candidates for the seat. Trinamool Congress will try its luck on seat, while 58 independent candidates are also in the fray.5858
