Next time you come to Goa and want to take ‘selfie’ or photograph other tourists, take their permission first so that their privacy can be respected. This instruction is part of the advisory issued by the Goa Tourism Department for tourists and is aimed at protecting the privacy of tourists, their safety and to prevent them from being duped by anti-social elements. Do not take selfies or pictures without permission of other tourists/strangers as per the issued guidelines, especially while sunbathing or swimming in the sea, so as to respect their privacy.
