Dead body of forest guard found – Photo: Amar Ujala Expansion The dead body of attached forest guard Rambabu Verma at Navra Chowki of Forest Division General of Burhanpur district on Monday night around 9: 108 was found lying near Savera Lodge, Burhanpur Bus Stand. The forest guard was suspended by the department after the incident of looting of guns by encroachers in Bakri, after which the Forest Guard Pradeep Mishra attached the forest guard to Navra forest post. Burhanpur DFO Pradeep Mishra told that the process of restoration was also going on. Information was received in the night that his body was found near a lodge. It is being told that the employee may have died due to the attack. However, Kotwali police is still investigating. Some people admitted forest guard Rambabu Verma to the district hospital in the night 233 by ambulance. He was a resident of village Devakhedi Tehsil Khilchipur district Rajgarh. On receiving the information, the relatives and friends of Rambabu Verma reached Burhanpur on Tuesday morning. The dead body was handed over to the relatives after postmortem in the district hospital. Local forest workers cooperated and sent the family to their village in an ambulance.
