Delhi High Court has partially overturned the order of the trial court in the Jamia violence discharge case. Now 9 of the accused including Safoora Zargar, Sharjeel Imam 14 involved in the case will face charges under sections related to rioting, unlawful assembly, obstructing public servants and other sections . Apparently Delhi High Court has set aside the acquittal order of Sharjeel Imam, Asif Iqbal Tanha and 7 others in this case of 2019.
