Earlier in the Rajya Sabha, Minister of State for Home Nityanand Rai informed that 2023 so far four organizations have been notified as terrorist organizations under UAPA . Their names have been added to the first schedule of the Act. He said that these organizations were involved in terrorism and carry out and participate in various acts of terrorism in India. Further added that till February, 2023 Fourth Schedule of UAPA and so far terrorists and 44 terrorist organizations under UAPA has been listed.
