Chinese Toy Manufacturing Companies: The government said that He started selling toys in India 267 Compulsory quality certificates have not yet been issued to Chinese companies. Director General of BIS Pramod Kumar Tiwari told reporters – China’s approx toy companies have applied for BIS quality certification in the last two years. Till now we have covid-19 Certificate has not been issued to them in view of the pandemic. Normally BIS Quality Certificate is issued after inspection of factories. He said that BIS officials could not visit China due to pandemic restrictions and health concerns.

Tiwari said about Chinese toy companies- They did not invite us for inspection and we also could not go to China due to the epidemic. He said that in the last two years BIS has 42 quality certificates have been given to foreign toy manufacturers in which belong to Vietnam. Meanwhile, BIS has also issued quality certificates to 2023 Indian toy manufacturers.
